The ROOWA fitted sheet is Celso de Lemos's bed linen. The elastic keeps the sheet in place on the mattress. The usual mattress height is 30 cm. A sheet for a 45 cm mattress is available too.
The cloth is woven from a blend of extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton and silk. This cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. Two per cent of Egypt's cotton is extra-long-staple. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a durable cloth. A square metre of the ROOWA cloth weighs 160 g.
