The CALYPSO fitted sheet is Celso de Lemos's sateen bed linen. The cloth is light, smooth and silky. The elastic keeps the sheet in place on the mattress. The usual mattress height is 30 cm. A sheet for a 45 cm mattress is available too.
The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton. Giza is the region along the Nile where this cotton is grown. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a durable cloth and a high thread count. The CALYPSO thread count is 650, and a square metre of the cloth weighs 110 g.
CALYPSO is made in Portugal.
