POSEIDON pillowcase

The POSEIDON pillowcase is Celso de Lemos's bed linen, its cloth covered in a pattern of fine curved lines. There are five sizes. The 30 × 40 and 65 × 65 cm pillowcases have a zip and white piping. The others have an envelope closure.

The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton. This cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. Two per cent of Egypt's cotton is extra-long-staple. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a durable cloth and a high thread count. The POSEIDON thread count is 850, and a square metre of the cloth weighs 160 g.
