BOTANICA fitted sheet

The BOTANICA fitted sheet is a plain, single-colour sheet. It goes with the patterned duvet cover and pillowcase of the series. The cloth is a sateen with a thread count of 700. The elastic keeps the sheet in place on the mattress. The usual mattress height is 30 cm. A sheet for a 45 cm mattress is available too.

The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton. This cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. Two per cent of Egypt's cotton is extra-long-staple. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a smooth, durable cloth. A square metre of the cloth weighs 120 g.
