PARTITION duvet cover

The PARTITION duvet cover is Celso de Lemos bed linen in a silk and cotton cloth. An uneven grid of light lines is woven into the cloth, on a honey-coloured ground. The duvet cover has a 5 cm flange. Its back is a plain sateen in Naturel. The duvet cover has a zip and a tie in every corner. There are thirteen sizes, from a 135 × 200 cm duvet to a 260 × 240 cm one.

The cloth is woven from silk and extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton, half of each. This cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. Two per cent of Egypt's cotton is extra-long-staple. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a smooth, durable cloth. A square metre of the PARTITION cloth weighs 125 g.
