BOTANICA pillowcase

The BOTANICA pillowcase is Celso de Lemos bed linen in a cotton and silk cloth. Large tulips and their leaves are woven into the cloth. The pattern has a sheen, the ground is matt. The flange and the back of the pillowcase are a plain sateen in Ivory. The flange is 3.5 cm wide. The pillowcase closes as an envelope. The 30 × 40 and 65 × 65 cm sizes have no flange. Their back carries the pattern and they close with a zip. There are ten sizes, from a 30 × 40 cm pillow to an 80 × 80 cm one.

The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton and silk. This cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. Two per cent of Egypt's cotton is extra-long-staple. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a smooth, durable cloth. A square metre of the BOTANICA cloth weighs 140 g.
