CALYPSO pillowcase

The CALYPSO pillowcase is Celso de Lemos's sateen bed linen. The cloth is light, smooth and silky. The pillowcase has an envelope closure. There are ten sizes, from a 30 × 40 cm pillow to an 80 × 80 cm one. It comes with or without a flange, and the flange adds 5–7 cm to the size.

The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton. Giza is the region along the Nile where this cotton is grown. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a durable cloth and a high thread count. The CALYPSO thread count is 650, and a square metre of the cloth weighs 110 g.

CALYPSO is made in Portugal.
