IVY pillowcase

The IVY pillowcase is Celso de Lemos's percale bed linen. The cloth is white, with a zigzag line embroidered along its edge. The colour is in the embroidery alone, and its shade is chosen from six. The pillowcase has an envelope closure. There are ten sizes, from a 30 × 40 cm pillow to an 80 × 80 cm one.

The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton. This cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. Two per cent of Egypt's cotton is extra-long-staple. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a durable cloth and a high thread count. The IVY thread count is 700, and a square metre of the cloth weighs 120 g.

IVY is made in Portugal.
