FERN pillowcase

The FERN pillowcase is Celso de Lemos's sateen bed linen. The FERN series has small sprigs embroidered on it. The embroidery comes in two shades, Powder and Nacre. The pillowcase has a flange, 5 or 7 cm wide depending on the size. It has an envelope closure. There are five sizes, from a 30 × 40 cm pillow to a 65 × 65 cm one.

The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton. Giza is the region along the Nile where this cotton is grown. The cotton flowers are picked by hand. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a durable cloth and a high thread count. The FERN thread count is 1100, and a square metre of the cloth weighs 160 g.

FERN is made in Portugal.
