VENDÔME cushion cover

The VENDÔME cushion cover is Celso de Lemos's cover for a decorative cushion. A sparkling gold or silver thread brings out a graphic V in the cloth, repeated across the whole of it. The series is named after Place Vendôme, a square in central Paris. There are two shades, Gold and Silver. The cushion cover closes with a zip. There are three sizes, from a 30 × 40 cm cushion to a 65 × 65 cm one.

The cloth is woven from yarn that is dyed before weaving. The yarn is 70% extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton and 30% Lurex. Giza cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. The maker says the cloth drapes beautifully and has a luxurious sheen. A square metre of the VENDÔME cloth weighs 320 g.

VENDÔME is made in Portugal.
