LOVE cushion cover

LOVE is a Celso de Lemos decorative cushion cover. The white cloth has a golden pattern that recalls scales. In the middle is the word Love in handwriting, with curling lines and hearts around it. Lurex gives the cloth a light shimmer. The cover closes with a zip and its edge has golden piping. No filling is included. There are three sizes, from a 30 × 40 cm cushion to a 65 × 65 cm one.

The cloth is woven from extra-long-staple Egyptian Giza cotton and Lurex. It is 85% cotton and 15% Lurex. Giza cotton grows along the Nile and is picked by hand. The longer the fibre, the finer the yarn that can be spun from it. A fine yarn gives a durable cloth. A square metre of the cloth weighs 260 g.
